The TDS-EZ is an inexpensive and convenient digital tool to instantly check your overall water quality. A TDS meter, also known as a ppm pen, nutrient tester, or tds stick, this device measures the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, which refers to any salt, metal, or mineral present. With a simple push of a button, the TDS-EZ can display your water's purity level on the screen in parts per million (ppm). The lower the TDS level, the purer the water, with 0 ppm being pure H2O. This meter is great for testing tap water quality or determining when to change a filter, though it does not test for biological contaminants.

The TDS-EZ is a versatile tool suitable for a wide range of applications, including drinking water, water filtration and purification, hydroponics (testing nutrient levels), aquariums, reverse osmosis/deionization (RO/DI) systems, pools, and spas. Its plastic construction is 100% imported and designed to be highly durable.

This economy model is ideal for end-users, offering efficient and accurate measurements thanks to its advanced microprocessor technology. The hold function allows you to save measurements for convenient reading and recording, and the battery life is approximately 1000 hours of usage, powered by two 1.5V button cell batteries (LR44 or equivalent) included with the device.

To conserve battery life, the TDS-EZ features an auto-off function that turns the meter off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use. The large, easy-to-read LCD screen displays measurements within a range of 0-9990 ppm. From 0-999 ppm, the resolution is in increments of 1 ppm, while from 1000 to 9990 ppm, the resolution is in increments of 10 ppm, indicated by a blinking 'x10' image on the display.

The TDS-EZ meters are calibrated using a 342 ppm NaCl solution, and they can be recalibrated using a mini-screwdriver. Additionally, the meter includes a TDS chart sticker on the back, which provides an explanation of TDS values. The fun, translucent blue housing of the TDS-EZ is not only visually appealing but also very strong and durable.
