With an ultra-long service life of up to 36 months or 24,000 gallons when used with municipal water, the Waterdrop 17UA filter offers efficient filtration. It is tested by IAPMO against NSF/ANSI 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor. Additionally, it is tested by a KC authoritative organization to effectively reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including chloroform, benzene, chlorobenzene, chloropicrin, and styrene. The filter also effectively removes sediment, rust, and other large particles, and can reduce lead, as tested against the NSF/ANSI 53 standard.

To address the issue of clogging, the Waterdrop 17UA filter has been upgraded with a 20X increase in the filtration area, enhancing its capability while minimizing the risk of clogging. Made from premium BPA-free and lead-free materials, the filter is certified by IAPMO against the NSF/ANSI 372 Standard, ensuring reliable and safe use.

The installation process for the Waterdrop 17UA under sink water filter is quick and simple, taking less than 3 minutes. The system features innovative push-to-connect fittings, and the twist-and-lock design allows for a 3-second filter replacement. The system includes a 3/8" hose with a direct connection that adapts to standard 3/8'' feed water valves under US sinks, as well as a 3/8"–1/2" converter fitting to accommodate both 1/2" and 3/8" cold water lines and faucets.
